About Shri Dadamaharaj Natekar Morya Trust Vruddhashram

Shri Dadamaharaj Natekar Morya Trust is a registered Trust under Registration No.E/1477/1991. The Vruddashram was built initially as a Vanaprusthashram commonly known as 'Old Age Home' in Chikali, Pune Dist. by late Shri Dadasaheb alias Laxman Shankar Limaye in memory of his spiritual Guru Shri Dada Maharaj Natekar under the said Trust.

Shri Limaye had a dream for almost 40 years during his service to build a care home as he could not provide best medical care to his parents due to lack of resources. He purchased land at Chikali in 1994 and started the Ahsram in 1998. He passed away in 2005 after completion of his long desired dream.

The basic objective of the Old Age Home is to provide relief to the senior citizens who are either not cared for or live in isolation. Located close to Pune city, this Ashram is equipped to provide residence and care to the needy in a calm and peaceful environment.

This Old Age Home is built by a man of vision to provide solace to those who wish to live a dignified life rather than be with the children and live a remorseful life. Equipped with a dining room, a library, music room and prayer hall, this Ashram provides all round encouragement to the inamtes to spend their time in peace. There is also a School and play ground in the campus.

In addition to the Vruddashram, the Trust has expanded its activities over the years to building a School, hostel for boys and girls, providing accommodation to a Hotel Management College and running a Goshala.

The Trust has future plans of starting a School of International standards in their campus.
